Trio Ponticello consists of three native Tulsan musicians. Jennifer, Josh, and Ben met at the University of Tulsa where they bonded over their love of music. The Trio is enthusiastic about exploring all kinds of music – from classical and original compositions to pop, film and TV scores, and anime and video game soundtracks. While each member brings a unique skill set to the group, they each share one key trait—they all play the cello.
Jennifer Ripley

Jennifer Ripley is an accomplished cellist with experience in chamber, orchestral, and solo performance in the Tulsa area. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Tulsa, where she became close friends with her fellow members of Trio Ponticello. During her time at TU, she was a two-time concerto competition winner and a three-time recipient of the Heckman Chamber Music Award. Jennifer is passionate about making music and is dedicated to sharing that love through chamber music.
Joshua Lowery
Joshua Lowery is a composer, conductor, pianist, cellist, producer, video editor, game music developer, and amateur photographer. Joshua received a double Masters’ in Composition and Conducting at the University of Louisville. Currently he is working on an album and teaches music at the University of Tulsa.

Benjamin Reyes

Ben Reyes has surrounded himself with the music of games and movies since before he could talk. Growing up, he constantly tried to replicate the music he heard on his old DS and Wii video game systems, eventually writing them down and playing them with his brother and friends from school. Getting classical training from the University of Tulsa has tempered his skill and steeled his resolve to continue bringing beautiful, exciting music to life – from Mozart to Mario.
Today, he hopes to continue that passion, recreating the sounds he loves in a whole new way with Trio Ponticello.
